Boston Area Rape Crisis Center

BARCC’s mission is to end sexual violence through healing and social change. Sexual violence thrives when people exploit power over others. Our vision is a society free of all forms of oppression, and therefore sexual violence does not exist. In this world, people only engage in sexual activity with their full will, happiness, and consent. Everyone is free to go about their daily lives knowing that their bodies, identities, minds, and spirits will always be valued and respected.

Charles River Watershed Association

The mission of CRWA is to protect, preserve, and enhance the Charles River and its watershed through science, advocacy, and the law. Formed in 1965 after the public grew concerned about the declining condition of the Charles River, the Association has been dedicated to keeping the Charles clean and improving our water resource management for over 50 years. The CRWA’s work promotes smart environmental policies, resilient communities and a healthy river ecosystem.

Health Equity International runs St. Boniface Hospital, the only referral hospital in southern Haiti. St. Boniface has the region’s only neonatal intensive care unit, 24/7 emergency room, and spinal cord injury center. In a country where many people die because they can’t afford or access healthcare, Health Equity International is a lifeline.
